Your accounts and business interaction with ANSA Bank remain exactly as before. It is very much business as usual. All safety and security features are firmly in place. Loans, mortgages, and any of your other relationships with the bank will continue the same.
The big difference is that ANSA Bank is a completely indigenous bank which intends to spearhead cutting edge responsiveness and service delivery as we enhance our digital capability.
ANSA Merchant Bank has wanted to expand its banking operations and enhance the range of services it offers its clients for some time. We will achieve this organically, through our natural growth, or by acquisition. Bank of Baroda’s decision to rationalise its international operations and move out of the country created an excellent opportunity for AMBL to develop its retail banking capability. It signifies AMBL’s long-term confidence in the economy of Trinidad and Tobago and willingness to serve citizens in every area of their lives.
Chairman of ANSA Bank is David Dulal-Whiteway, who has spent most of his career in banking and has headed the largest banking network in the region. Kathleen Galy is the Ag. Managing Director. Mrs. Galy, a Director on the Board since inception, is an experienced banker who has operated in executive leadership positions within the ANSA McAL Group.
Definitely. We are uniting the strengths of a thriving and well-established Merchant Bank with a commercial bank, both of which have loyal customer bases. Building on these strengths, we will create a technologically advanced, customer-centric entity, staffed by the best people in the industry, offering an expansive range of attractive financial products to the people of Trinidad and Tobago. These will be the foundation for a highly responsive retail bank where our customers will find innovative financial solutions, suited to their lives, in an easy and seamless manner. Our vision is of a wholly indigenous commercial bank, with over four decades of banking experience through ANSA Merchant Bank, that helps our local community progress through financial stability, empowering people to strive for business goals and entrepreneurship, and achieving their desire to be homeowners, financial stable family units.
We are maintaining existing locations:
