Why has ANSA Merchant Bank Limited (AMBL) acquired the local Bank of Baroda branches?

ANSA Merchant Bank has wanted to expand its banking operations and enhance the range of services it offers its clients for some time. We will achieve this organically, through our natural growth, or by acquisition. Bank of Baroda’s decision to rationalise its international operations and move out of the country created an excellent opportunity for AMBL to develop its retail banking capability. It signifies AMBL’s long-term confidence in the economy of Trinidad and Tobago and willingness to serve citizens in every area of their lives.
